Life in the Quarry:

Years ago, Ram Bhajan, alongside his mother, toiled as a daily wage laborer. His back-breaking assignment was to deliver about 25 cartons of stones each day. The weight of the stones mirrored the weight of their financial struggles.

An Unexpected Tragedy:

While the family made meager earnings by selling the milk from their goats, an unforeseen tragedy struck during the Covid-19 pandemic. Ram Bhajan, who was already battling asthma, met a sorrowful demise, adding to the hardships faced by the family.

Despite the adversities, Ram Bhajan never abandoned his academic pursuits. His perseverance and commitment bore fruit when he secured a job as a constable in the Delhi Police.

Triumph against the Odds:

Having served as a constable since 2009, Ram Bhajan’s relentless efforts culminated in 2022. After seven previous attempts, he finally achieved an All India Rank of 667 in the UPSC exam on his eighth try.
