For your information, let us tell you that an overbridge is going to be built from Telibandha Chowk to VIP Road and Telibandha Police Station. After which the traffic system here will improve significantly. The department has prepared the drawing-design and sent it to the government.
With the construction of the overbridge, vehicles going towards Howrah and Mumbai will not have to stop at Telibandha signal. Due to which the time of the commuters will also be saved. With this, there will be relief from the long traffic jam at Telibandha Chowk.
It is being told that more than 2.5 lakh vehicles pass through Telibandha Chowk in a day. Keeping this in mind, an overbridge is being built. From Telibandha to VIP Chowk, its length will be about 1,500 meters and width will be 22 meters.
