Prime Minister Modi has recently inaugurated the country’s longest pool, Atal Pool.
Let me tell you that its foundation stone was laid by PM Modi in December 2016 itself. Actually, the name of this pool has been named Atal Setu after the former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee. And it has been completed over the sea.
This will be India’s longest sea bridge. The total length of this bridge will be 21.8 kilometers. While building this bridge, security has also been taken into consideration. After which 190 CCTV cameras with artificial intelligence have also been installed on it.
This bridge connects two big cities Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. So that the journey of 2 hours will now be completed in just 15 minutes. With this, the journey to Pune, Goa and South India will also be completed in less time.
It will be India’s first and world’s 12th longest sea bridge, its total cost is Rs 17 thousand 840 crore. Its capacity can handle traffic of more than 70 thousand vehicles. Vehicles will run on the bridge at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour, otherwise this pool is also very strong from the safety point of view, it will not be affected by strong winds.
