As urbanization continues its rapid pace in cities like Delhi, traffic congestion has become a perpetual concern. This new infrastructure will grant much-needed relief to travelers, allowing them to bypass the infamous Delhi traffic jams. Furthermore, the expressway will act as a bridge for northern Indian states, linking them directly to the Delhi-Mumbai expressway.

Budgeted at approximately 1400 crore rupees, this six-lane expressway is not just a massive infrastructural undertaking but also a testament to the region’s growth and potential. The land acquisition process for this mega project has been finalized, and tenders for construction are already in place. This route will traverse through prominent Haryana regions like Mahendragarh, Charkhi Dadri, Rohtak, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Ambala, and others, ensuring better accessibility and growth prospects for these regions.

But the progress doesn’t end there. The expressway is designed with state-of-the-art features, mirroring those of the Delhi-Mumbai expressway. It will include cameras, speed controllers, Wi-Fi access, and modern access control, justifying its moniker, the “Green Expressway.” This project will benefit not only Alwar but also neighboring districts like Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Bharatpur, and Karauli, enhancing regional connectivity.

The expressway’s blueprint incorporates interchanges, underpasses, and flyovers, ensuring a smooth and efficient travel experience for its users. Dubbed the “148B”, this expressway has resulted in the acquisition of land from 56 villages. In Alwar district alone, about 1748 hectares of land have been earmarked for the project. In acknowledgment of the sacrifices made by local farmers during the land acquisition process, compensations exceeding 500 crore rupees have been allocated.

With construction anticipated to commence shortly, local and national authorities are geared up to oversee this transformative project. According to Mukesh Meena, a senior official with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), the Paniyala Mor to Alwar Badoda Mev expressway is currently a top government priority. Both the tender process and a majority of the land acquisition procedures are completed, with a few administrative processes pending. Once these are cleared, construction will kick off, aiming for a swift completion to benefit the citizens at the earliest.

In summary, this expressway is more than just a road; it represents the aspirations, growth, and connectivity of North India, promising a brighter, more connected future for its residents.
