Rooted in Humble Beginnings:
The Chaurasia family, originally from the Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh, moved to Gonda in 1997 in search of a better livelihood. It was here that Hem Chand Chaurasia, Jyoti’s father, began a simple paan shop. The little kiosk not only supported the family but also anchored the dreams of his daughter, Jyoti.
Family and Formative Years:
Growing up with a sibling, amidst the everyday hustle of Gonda, Jyoti embraced her early education with zeal. After successfully completing her graduation from Gonda, the world of administrative services beckoned. Fueled by ambition, she moved to Lucknow to prepare for the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) examination. She took her first shot at the exam in 2015 but faced a setback.
