Vijay’s initial forays into the UPSC examinations were met with setbacks. He missed the Prelims in 2013 and faced disappointment again in 2014. However, undeterred, he integrated his office duties with his preparation, leveraging YouTube as a tool for his studies. Giving particular emphasis to subjects like General Studies, Reasoning, and notably Sanskrit, he innovatively used online resources to bridge the gaps in his knowledge.

2018 became the turning point in Vijay’s UPSC journey. Despite securing the 10th rank in Mains, his path was still laden with challenges. But, surrender was not in his dictionary. Continuously refining his preparation, he finally tasted the sweet success he had longed for.
