In Bankok a  shooter opened fire in a child development center in northeastern Thailand.

Killing and over 30 people, the majority of whom were young kids. 

The shooting happened shortly after noon in the town centre of Nongbua Lamphu. 

The assailant murdered 30 people before killing himself. He had no additional information.

So far, 26 people have died, including 23 youngsters, teaching assistants, and one policeman. 

The alleged shooter used knives in his strike before fleeing the tower. At least two bodies were photographed on the center's ground, which was covered in white covers. 

The assailant was identified as a retired police lieutenant commander from the territory, but no official announcement was provided. 

The alleged attacker brought back to the location of the attack after fleeing the location of the strike.
