But now there is good news for those people who want to travel in metro, soon they can fulfill their dream by traveling in metro. On the other hand, it is being told that from this Friday i.e. March 15, the East-West Metro running under the Hooghly River of Kolkata will open for the general public.
In such a situation, if you are also a resident of Kolkata or are planning to go to Kolkata recently, then this news is no less than good news for you. If we talk about its time table, according to the information given by Kolkata Metro, the first metro of the day will run from Howrah and Esplanade stations at seven o’clock.
Metro will run every 12 minutes from 5 pm to 8 pm. Passengers can go to any metro station in the city from Howrah Maidan or Howrah Station. Let us tell you that recently on March 6, Prime Minister Modi had inaugurated it. He also took a metro journey with school children.
