These days, cold is raging all around and people are troubled by it, hence guidelines are being issued continuously in the entire state. People are being advised not to leave the city without work. It is also being told that the cold will continue for the next few days.
The government has also issued an advisory regarding protection from cold wave and cold. All the District Magistrates have appealed to the common people of the city and advised them not to go out. It is said that stay inside the house, stay safe and keep getting information about the weather with the help of newspaper, radio, TV and mobile.
While arrangements for bonfire have also been made at many places, let me tell you that the Municipal Corporation of Gaya district has made arrangements for bonfire at 20 places. This includes Gandhi Maidan Rain Basera, Panchayati Akhara Rain Basera, Gaya Station, Bairagi Rain Basera, Kashinath Mode, Chand Chaura, Vishnupad, Leprosy Hospital, Ramshila Mode, Azad Park, Chowk Kiran Cinema, Digghi Mode, Rajendra Ashram, Gawal Bigha, Bata Mod. This facility has been provided to the people at Durga places including Manpur Bus Stand, New Godown Mode, Railway Gumti No. 1.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no respite from cold in the coming three-four months. Also, all the educational institutions in the state have been closed. Whereas the DM has instructed all the officials to ensure arrangements for bonfire at additional places in view of the cold day.
