A few days ago, Modi ji’s statement was widely discussed. Yes, that statement was regarding Darbhanga AIIMS. In fact, Modi ji had declared AIIMS to be built without it being built, but now the Center has sent a proposal to the state government regarding the same. Let me tell you that the tender process will soon be started by the Central Government in this regard. And it is being told that before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the bhoomi pujan of AIIMS hospital to be built in Darbhanga will be done.
Let me tell you that the Central Government had sent this proposal to the Bihar Government before the New Year i.e. in the month of December in 2019. In this proposal, the State Government has accepted all the necessary conditions of the Central Government. And the best thing is that this proposal also involves connecting Darbhanga AIIMS with four lanes. Whereas all the conditions of the Center are acceptable to the Bihar government.
Let me tell you that long ago the state government had already completed the process of acquiring land for building Darbhanga AIIMS. Currently 189 acres of land has been identified for the construction of AIIMS. The then Chief Minister of Bihar Nistish Kumar has also inspected it.
Last year itself, approval was given for the construction work of AIIMS in March 2023. The land sanctioned in Shobhan is about five kilometers away from Amas-Darbhanga four lane. And the benefit that people will get from this is that people can reach easily without getting stuck in the jam.
