The increasing demand for SUVs is proving to be beneficial for all companies, including Mahindra & Mahindra. Recently, Mahindra announced that they are planning to update their XUV300 model, with updated features and specifications that are set to enhance the travel experience for passengers.
The new model of XUV300 is said to receive a revamped look, making it even more attractive compared to its predecessor. The updates are expected to excite the youth, as the car’s engine will remain the same as the current model.
It is powered by a 1497cc CRDi Micro Hybrid engine, capable of generating 115.05bhp of power at 3750 rpm and a torque of 300Nm at 1500-2500 rpm.
The new model may offer both automatic and manual gear transmission options. In terms of suspension, the car will have MacPherson Strut with Anti-roll Bar at the front and Twist Beam Suspension with Coil Spring at the rear. It also features side disc brakes for added safety.
Smart features in the XUV300 will include Low Fuel Warning Light, Accessory Power Outlet, Rear Seat Headrest, Adjustable Headrest, Rear Seat Centre Arm Rest, Height Adjustable Front Seat Belts, Vanity Mirror, Rear Reading Lamp, Cup Holders-Front, Cup Holders-Rear, and Cruise Control.
For safety, the car will be equipped with Side Airbag-Rear, Seat Belt Warning, Tyre Pressure Monitor, Day & Night Rear View Mirror, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Engine Immobilizer, and Electronic Stability Control.
Additionally, it is speculated that the car may also be equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) – considered the most advanced safety feature.
The dimensions of the car will remain the same, with a length of 3995mm, width of 1821mm, height of 1627mm, and a boot space capacity of 257 liters. In terms of pricing, the XUV300 is currently priced between 7.99 – 14.76 lakh rupees (ex-showroom) for the base or top model, with the new model expected to be priced higher.
