In recent days, car manufacturers have announced that their cars will become more expensive in the new year, but Hyundai India has already made a swift move. Hyundai Motors has increased the price of its top-selling hatchback i20, with a hike of a hefty 26,500 rupees.

The Hyundai i20 is capable of providing a mileage of up to 20.0 kmpl and runs on a petrol engine with a displacement of 1197cc. This engine is a four-cylinder unit that delivers 86.76bhp of power at 6000 RPM and 114.7Nm of torque at 4200 RPM.

In terms of safety, it includes features such as a driver airbag, front side airbags, day-night rear-view mirror, curtain airbag, electronic brake force distribution, seat belt warning, vehicle stability management (VSM), driver rear-view monitor, emergency stop signal, smart pedal, clutch lock, high mount stop lamp, anti-lock braking system, central locking, anti-theft alarm, and passenger airbag.
