Tata Nexon has made a name for itself as one of the top sub-compact SUVs in the country. Its attractive design has garnered a lot of attention in the market, and it is available in several variants. Launched by Tata Motors in 2017, the Nexon has gained popularity in the sub-compact SUV segment ever since.
The safety of the vehicle has been a key focus for Tata Motors. The Nexon has received a 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash tests, which has had a significantly positive impact on its sales. It topped the list of the best-selling SUVs in November 2023.
In November 2023, Tata Motors sold a total of 14,916 units of the Tata Nexon, slightly lower than the 15,871 units sold in November 2022. Despite a 6% decrease in sales, the Nexon emerged as the top-selling SUV in that month, surpassing popular models such as the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Hyundai Creta.
On the other hand, the Tata Punch, another offering from Tata Motors, lagged slightly behind the Nexon in terms of sales. In November 2023, the Punch recorded a total of 14,383 units sold, a 19% increase from the previous year’s sale of 12,131 units.
