The demand for electric vehicles is steadily increasing as people are considering moving towards a more sustainable mode of transportation. However, there are several concerns that potential buyers have in mind, such as the weight and limited range of electric vehicles. But with many electric bikes entering the market, the competition with petrol-powered bikes is becoming more intense.

One such electric bike that promises exceptional power performance is the Tork Kratos R, equipped with a 150cc engine.

This electric bike is set to be launched in India at a price of INR 1,67,499 (ex-showroom), making it a strong contender against traditional petrol bikes.

The Tork Kratos R is specifically designed for urban use, featuring a flux motor that generates 12 bhp power and 38 Nm peak torque. Surprisingly, it is claimed to be more powerful than the Royal Enfield Classic 350cc.

The bike is powered by a 4 kWh lithium-ion battery and offers four modes – Eco, City, Sports, and Reverse. In Sports mode, it can reach a top speed of 105 km/h and provide a range of up to 180 kilometers on a full charge.

Not only does the Tork Kratos R deliver exceptional performance, but it also comes with impressive features such as map navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, vehicle locator, anti-theft system, geofencing, charging point locator, OTA updates, and ride analytics.

According to the company, using this electric bike could lead to savings of up to INR 96,000 on petrol expenses annually. It also comes with a 3-year or 40,000-kilometer warranty, with an option to extend it further.
