In a significant growth trajectory, TVS Motor Company’s total sales in November 2023 witnessed a substantial year-on-year increase of 31 percent, reaching a notable figure of 3,64,231 units. This impressive number stands in stark contrast to the total of 2,77,123 vehicles sold in the same month of the previous year, 2022, underscoring the company’s accelerating growth and market appeal.

A closer look at the sales figures reveals a specific interest in the two-wheeler segment. In the 30 days of November, the sales of TVS’s two-wheelers, which include bikes, scooters, and mopeds, soared by 34 percent to 3,52,103 units. This is a significant jump from the 2,52,103 units sold in November 2022, reflecting the growing demand for TVS’s two-wheeler offerings.

The domestic market, in particular, showed an even more pronounced increase. Sales of two-wheelers within India escalated by an impressive 50 percent, reaching 2,87,017 units in November 2023, compared to 1,91,730 units in the same month of the previous year. This rise indicates a strong domestic preference for TVS’s products.

Focusing on the individual segments, TVS Motor Company’s motorcycle sales experienced a 19 percent increase in November 2023, with sales of 1,72,836 units compared to 1,45,006 units in November of the preceding year. This growth is indicative of the sustained popularity of TVS motorcycles among consumers.

Simultaneously, the scooter segment of TVS Motor Company also witnessed a significant hike in sales. In November 2023, scooter sales jumped by a remarkable 62 percent on a year-on-year basis, reaching 1,35,749 units. This figure stood in contrast to the 83,679 units sold in the same period in 2022, highlighting the increasing consumer preference for scooters in the company’s portfolio.
