Hyundai Creta EV: Hyundai, the South Korean automaker, is all set to launch the facelift of the Creta in the Indian market at the beginning of next year. The company is also developing an electric version of the Creta SUV, which will compete with the Maruti Suzuki EV.

The unveiling of the Hyundai Creta EV is expected to be at the end of 2024 and the launch in 2025. The electric Creta has been spotted multiple times during testing in India. This time, the electric SUV was seen in South Korea during testing. The latest spy images have revealed some design details that appear to be different from the upcoming Creta facelift.

The Creta EV spotted in South Korea will have a significantly different appearance compared to the current Creta SUV. It features a front fascia with new design elements and a faux exhaust outlet.

The Creta facelift will come with a new parametric jewel front grille and split headlamp design, which we have already seen in the Alcazar and Venue. Meanwhile, its EV version will have C-shaped LED daytime running lamps that appear larger than the lamps found in the current Creta.

The electric SUV will come with a closed front grille and a modified headlamp setup. The side profile will look very similar to the Creta facelift, although it may feature alloy wheels with a different style. At the rear, the Hyundai Creta EV could potentially receive slightly modified wraparound taillights and a rear bumper.

The Hyundai Creta Electric is expected to be equipped with a 50kWh battery pack, which could provide a range of over 500 kilometers on a full charge.

Upon its launch, this electric SUV will compete with the Mahindra XUV400, MG ZS EV, upcoming Tata Curv EV, Honda eLIVE EV, and Maruti Suzuki EV.
