Volkswagen has introduced special edition versions of its popular sedan, Virtus, and mid-size SUV, Taigun. These special editions are named Volkswagen Virtus Sound Edition and Taigun Sound Edition, and they both feature a 1.0L TSI petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 115bhp and a peak torque of 178Nm.

The Volkswagen Virtus Sound Edition with the 1.0L TSI MT variant is priced at Rs 15.52 lakhs, while the 1.0L TSI AT variant is priced at Rs 16.77 lakhs (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the Volkswagen Taigun Sound Edition with the 1.0L TSI MT variant is priced at Rs 16.33 lakhs, and the 1.0L TSI AT variant is priced at Rs 17.90 lakhs (ex-showroom).

These special edition models have been specifically designed to enhance the music experience. They come with powered front seats, speakers, and an amplifier system. These features were previously only available in the 1.5L TSI petrol engine variant.

Furthermore, the Virtus and Taigun Sound Editions come with special badging on the doors and C-pillar. The SUV variant also offers contrast roof and wing mirror options, and they are available in four color options – Wild Cherry Red, Lava Blue, Rising Blue, and Carbon Steel Grey.
