Honda Elevate: Honda City is currently being sold with a hybrid engine that provides mileage of up to 27 kilometers per liter. The Amaze sedan has also been in the market for almost a decade.

This car has demand among both personal and commercial customers. However, Honda has not achieved much success with its SUV cars. Since discontinuing SUV models, the company has only been selling two sedans in the market over the past several years.

The discontinuation of SUVs has led to a significant drop in Honda’s sales. However, the company’s fate has changed with the introduction of a new SUV. Due to the fantastic response from customers, this new SUV sold 5,685 units in just one month. Reports suggest that the engine performance of this SUV is highly liked by customers. The car’s excellent ride quality and handling are also being praised.

Honda Elevate is equipped with several advanced features such as SUV climate control, touchscreen infotainment system, adjustable driver seat height, sunroof, power mirrors and windows, LED headlamps, and level-2 ADAS technology. In terms of safety, this SUV comes with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounting points, and cruise control features. The company has also added a camera-based advanced driver assistance system suite.

The Elevate is equipped with a 1.5-liter natural aspirated petrol engine from the City sedan, capable of generating a maximum power of 119 bhp and peak torque of 145 Nm. For transmission, the SUV is available in 6-speed manual and CVT gearbox options. The company may introduce it in a hybrid engine option in the future.

With the arrival of this SUV, Honda, which was struggling with sales, has received a big boost. Last month, City sold 2,577 units and Amaze sold 1,599 units, while Elevate sold 5,685 units.

The company claims that the mileage of the Elevate’s manual variant is 15.31 KMPL and the automatic variant is 16.92 KMPL.

Honda Elevate has been launched at a starting price of 10,99,900 rupees (ex-showroom). The top variant is priced at 15,99,900 rupees (ex-showroom).
