Honda XL750 Transalp: Honda has recently launched the XL750 Transalp adventure bike in India. This bike is designed specifically for long-distance travel and is similar to the company’s Africa Twin.
The XL750 Transalp is developed on a diamond steel frame as a mid-range adventure motorcycle. It features Showa 43mm USD forks at the front and a mono-shock setup at the rear for better riding. The bike comes with a sloping fuel tank, a single-piece seat, an exhaust, and a transparent windscreen. It is equipped with a 21-inch front wheel with spokes and an 18-inch rear wheel.
The XL750 Transalp is powered by a 755cc parallel-twin engine that generates 90bhp and 75Nm of torque. It has a 270-degree crankshaft and a 6-speed transmission. To enhance fuel efficiency, the cylinders of the CRF450R and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade engines have been coated with nickel-silicon carbide. With Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and throttle by wire system, you can control the amount of power, engine braking, ABS, and wheelie control.
The bike features a 5.0-inch TFT panel that displays important information such as speedometer, tachometer, RPM, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, and riding modes. It may also come with Honda Smartphone Voice Control (HSVC), allowing users to manage calls, messages, and navigation through voice commands. In terms of braking, it has dual-channel ABS with disc brakes at both the front and rear.
The XL750 Transalp is priced at INR 10.99 lakhs (ex-showroom) and is available in Ross White and Matte Ballistic Black colors. Customers can now book the first 100 units in the Indian market.
Honda’s new XL750 Transalp adventure bike is designed for long-distance travel and offers a powerful engine, advanced features, and a sturdy frame. With its stylish design and comfortable seating, it is a suitable choice for adventure enthusiasts in India.
