Ola, the leading Indian electric vehicle (EV) company, has achieved a significant milestone by selling more than 200,000 electric scooters within 10 months this year. This accomplishment has made Ola the first EV company in India to achieve this feat.

According to Ola Electric, the company sold 24,000 units in October 2023, capturing approximately 35% market share in the electric two-wheeler segment. The EV startup based in Bangalore has achieved an impressive growth rate of 2.5 times in sales during the festive season of Navratri and Dussehra compared to the same period last year.

Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer of Ola, commented on the success, saying, “The festive season for EVs has been incredible, and we have witnessed strong growth in sales during Navratri and Dussehra. With exciting festive offers and a wide range of Ola scooters, Ola has become a favorite choice for customers during the festive season, leading up to Diwali. As Diwali approaches, we expect the sales momentum to further increase, making it a landmark year for EVs in India.”

Ola has achieved the milestone of selling 2 lakh units within 10 months of commencing operations, establishing itself as a prominent electric vehicle manufacturer. The brand recorded a growth rate of over 100% compared to the previous year when it achieved sales of one lakh units in just 10 months. Additionally, Ola is offering various discount offers during the festive season.

Moreover, during the festive period, customers who take a test ride of Ola scooters stand a chance to win an S1 X+ every day. Other rewards include discount coupons for Ola Care+ and immediate discounts on the purchase of the second-generation S1 Pro.

Ola Electric has also introduced an extended “5-Year Battery Warranty” program for scooters in its lineup.
