From her childhood days in Raukrela, Sanjeeta’s academic brilliance was evident. She sailed through her intermediate studies in her hometown, and her natural inclination towards science led her to pursue Mechanical Engineering.

Initial Steps Towards the Dream

Upon completing her engineering, Sanjeeta was fortunate to secure a stable government job. However, the call of her true passion, the Civil Services, remained strong. Juggling between her job responsibilities and UPSC preparation, she decided to take the plunge into the competitive world of UPSC exams.

Trials and Tribulations

Sanjeeta’s initial attempts at the UPSC exams were met with setbacks. The rigorous process stumped her not once, not twice, but thrice, with her failing to clear even the preliminary stages in her first three attempts. These setbacks, however, didn’t deter her spirit.

A Difficult Decision

Sanjeeta felt that her government job was hindering her from giving her best to her UPSC preparation. Thus, she made the challenging decision to quit her job. This decision, bold and risky, came at a pivotal point in her life as she also embraced a new journey of marriage around the same time.

Even after marriage, Sanjeeta’s resolve to become an IAS officer did not waver. She made a fourth attempt at the UPSC exam but was met with disappointment once again. However, it was her unwavering determination that ultimately paid off. On her fifth attempt, Sanjeeta’s dream of becoming an IAS officer finally became a reality.
