Bajaj Auto is planning to launch two new motorcycles in the Indian market next year, including the NS400. The company is currently working on the CNG bike and recently, its design patent was leaked online. Apart from this, Bajaj, the largest Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, is also working on the most powerful version of their popular Pulsar series, called NS400. Both these bikes will be a significant part of the company’s upcoming models with some minor modifications in their existing portfolio.

The Bajaj CNG bike will target the entry-level commuter segment and is codenamed Browser E101. It is likely to be based on the CT100 or CT110. The leaked design patent indicates the use of a perimeter frame. The CNG tank will be placed between the upper braces, while the engine can be seen below. The CNG cylinder appears quite long in length, and the main petrol fuel tank will be well hidden beneath it.

According to reports, the CNG bike will not have a dual-fuel setup like CNg cars, but Bajaj will definitely provide a petrol tank that will allow the rider to reach the nearest CNG station. The bike will use a suitable fuel injection system, although the power output may be affected compared to a pure petrol equivalent. The main advantage of the CNG bike will be its low operating cost and competitive pricing.

On the other hand, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is currently under development and is expected to be launched in 2024. It will be powered by the 373cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine from the Dominar 400, coupled with a 6-speed.
