Tata Safari Facelift: Tata Motors recently unveiled the facelifted versions of the Tata Harrier and Safari, both of which come with better styling and new features. The official bookings for these SUVs have already started at authorized dealerships and online, with an initial token amount of INR 25,000. While both SUVs have undergone several changes in their exteriors and interiors, there have been no changes made to the engine. The prices for the facelifted Harrier and Safari will be announced on October 17, 2023.

Customers can expect delivery towards the end of this month or the beginning of November. The updated designs of the Harrier and Safari have been influenced by the Harrier EV concept showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo and the recently updated Nexon facelift and Nexon EV facelift.

The facelifted Harrier and Safari come with split headlamp clusters, but their designs have been updated to give them a sportier vibe. In addition to the updated bumpers, there is a full-width LED light bar running below the revised bonnet that extends the width with LED signature lighting. Both SUVs feature new grille inserts that act as distinguishing elements between them.

Other main attractions include new color schemes, distinct 19-inch alloy wheels, separate LED signatures in the connected tail lamps, and revised rear bumpers. The cabin has been completely revamped with a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an all-digital cluster, and more premium interior finish, among other features.

Inside the cabin, there is a new four-spoke steering wheel with illuminated logos, an updated dashboard with new leather inserts, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 10-speaker JBL audio system, ventilated and powered front seats with memory function, powered tailgate, seat ventilation for the second row in the Safari, and seven airbags. Both SUVs feature the EPS (Electric Power Steering), which replaces the hydraulic unit and offers regular and sport modes.

The familiar 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine continues to power these SUVs, delivering a maximum power of 170 PS and a peak torque of 350 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
