Ola Electric has announced the commencement of deliveries for its latest electric scooter, the S1 Pro Gen2, in India. The S1 Pro Gen2 was launched in August 2023 at a price of INR 1.48 lakhs (ex-showroom). It comes with updated chassis, an improved motor, and battery pack, along with new technology.

According to Ola Electric, the delivery of the S1 Pro Gen2 has started in more than 100 cities and will soon be expanded to other markets across the country. The scooter has received upgrades, including a lighter frame, a flat floorboard, and telescopic front forks instead of the previous mono-shock unit. The mid-drive motor is now more powerful, generating 11 kilowatts (14.7 bhp) of power, and promises a top speed of 120 km/h. It can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.6 seconds.

Compared to the Gen1 model, the new Ola S1 Pro Gen2 is approximately 6 kilograms lighter, which has helped extend the claimed range to 195 km on a single charge, thanks to a better battery pack. The scooter also features redesigned alloy wheels, a utility sing-piece grab rail, and a reduced boot space of 34 liters compared to the previous 36 liters. The Ola S1 Pro Gen2 is available in five colors – Jet Black, Matte White, Stellar, Midnight Blue, and Amethyst.
