Early Aspirations:

From an early age, Jagriti was determined to pursue a career in the civil services and aspired to become a collector—a dream that fueled her ambition throughout her life.

Academic Excellence:

Jagriti consistently excelled in her studies from the very beginning. After completing her engineering degree, she briefly worked at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL).

Transition to UPSC Preparation:

Despite her successful stint at BHEL, Jagriti decided to redirect her career path towards her childhood dream. She embarked on a rigorous journey of UPSC preparation, formulating a comprehensive strategy.

Educational Background:

Jagriti’s educational journey included intermediate studies and a B.Tech degree from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal. Her academic prowess laid a strong foundation for her future endeavors.

Dedicated Pursuit:

Between 2017 and 2019, Jagriti worked at BHEL before taking the courageous step of pursuing her dream of joining the civil services. She left her job to fully commit to UPSC preparation, demonstrating her unwavering determination.

Perseverance Amidst Setbacks:

Jagriti’s first attempt at the UPSC examination did not yield the desired results. Undeterred by the setback, she decided to leave her job and intensify her preparation, resolved to fulfill her dream at any cost.

Adapting to Challenges:

During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, when coaching centers were closed, Jagriti remained resolute and motivated herself to study diligently at home. She dedicated 8 to 10 hours a day initially, gradually increasing her study hours to 10 to 12 hours, and intensifying it to 12 to 14 hours two months before the exam. She also utilized online resources for her preparation.

Learning from Failures:

Jagriti took her initial failure as a learning experience. She identified her weaknesses, worked on them diligently, and refined her strategy for her second attempt.

Achieving All India Rank:

Jagriti’s determination and hard work bore fruit in her second attempt at the UPSC examination. She secured an All India Rank, fulfilling her dream of entering the civil services.
