Two-wheelers, especially scooters, do not provide excellent mileage, and with the rising petrol prices, the need for fuel-efficient options has become crucial. Therefore, the company has decided to introduce the CNG variant. Some time ago, as part of a pilot project, the Honda Activa CNG was spotted on the roads. However, it was not an official production model by the company.

If Honda launches the Activa CNG, there will likely be no changes to the engine. It is speculated that the scooter will feature a dual-cylinder setup with a capacity of up to 10 kilograms of CNG in both cylinders. People believe that this CNG scooter will be capable of providing mileage of up to 100 kilometers per kilogram, making it highly fuel-efficient.

However, the confirmation of these details may only come after the official launch. If the CNG scooter arrives in India, it is expected to be priced between Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 95,000, which is quite reasonable. While the CNG scooter will offer ample boot space, the footrest in the front may be reduced.

The Honda Activa already comes with various fantastic features, and in the future, it is expected to continue with these features. Therefore, it is likely that the CNG variant will also come with modern features. However, to keep the price competitive, the company may make adjustments to the features. It remains to be seen whether we will see this CNG scooter on the roads in the near future.
