Yamaha has launched the Monster Energy MotoGP Edition of its Aerox 155 scooter in India. This new edition comes with cosmetic and feature updates compared to the standard Aerox 155. However, there have been no mechanical changes made to the scooter. Prior to launching the Monster Energy MotoGP Edition of the Aerox 155, Yamaha had also launched the MotoGP Editions of the YZF-R15M, MT-15, and RayZR 125.
The Yamaha Aerox 155 Monster Energy MotoGP Edition is powered by a 155cc, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, Blue Core engine, which is paired with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). This engine generates 14.7 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 13.9 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The scooter now supports OBD2 and E20 fuel.
In terms of features, the Yamaha Aerox 155 Monster Energy MotoGP Edition comes equipped with all-LED lighting, Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, multifunction key, automatic start and stop system, side-stand engine cut-off function, and a single-channel ABS. The scooter features telescopic front forks and twin-sided rear springs for suspension. The braking setup comprises a 230mm single disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear.
