Upon completing his MD, Dheeraj took a leap of faith. He relinquished a job that promised a monthly salary of around Rs 5 lakh to throw his hat in the IAS ring. It was a bold decision, given the competitive nature of the UPSC examination. Dheeraj even set a personal boundary: should he not succeed in his first attempt, he would revert to his medical career.
Fortune, as they say, favors the brave. Dheeraj’s meticulous preparation combined with his unwavering determination led to a spectacular outcome. In his very first attempt in 2019, he clinched the 64th rank, realizing his dream of becoming an IAS officer. His journey serves as an inspiration to countless others, showcasing that with passion and perseverance, one can indeed move mountains.
