Toyota, a brand synonymous with reliability and innovation, has launched a new compact SUV that is turning heads and giving fierce competition to models like the Creta. Dubbed the “Mini Fortuner” or “Urban Cruiser Highrider,” this new offering is as luxurious and feature-packed as its bigger sibling, the Fortuner, but at a more affordable price point.

For those considering a purchase, the good news is that the Urban Cruiser can be acquired with a modest down payment of just ₹1 lakh. With favorable financing options available, potential owners can get their hands on this dream vehicle by paying monthly EMIs as low as ₹23,779.

The Urban Cruiser doesn’t skimp on features. Its cabin boasts a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, and connectivity options for smartphones and smartwatches. For the driving enthusiast, there are added perks like paddle shifters and a head-up display, and for the tech-savvy, a wireless phone charger.

Safety, a paramount concern for most buyers, is comprehensively addressed. The Urban Cruiser is equipped with six airbags, electronic brake distribution (EBD) paired with ABS, a tire pressure monitoring system, vehicle stability control, and all-wheel disc brakes. Enhancing the safety suite is a 360-degree camera, ensuring drivers have a clear view of their surroundings at all times.

Under the hood, Toyota has incorporated a 1.5-liter petrol engine. Two hybrid options are available – a mild hybrid and a stronger hybrid variant. The stronger hybrid version generates a commendable 16PS of power and comes with an e-CVT gearbox. The hybrid variant churns out 102 PS of power and offers both a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox option. For those who prefer CNG, a mild hybrid engine paired with a manual gearbox is available. Toyota claims an impressive mileage of 26.6 kilometers per liter for the Urban Cruiser, making it not just stylish and feature-rich but also fuel-efficient.
