For this year’s festival rush, special attention is given to the routes connecting Muzaffarpur and Barauni to Yeshwantpur. Virendra Kumar, the Public Relations Officer for the East Central Rail, revealed the decision to introduce these services, taking into consideration the expected surge of passengers.
Key Details of the Special Train Schedule:
Muzaffarpur-Yeshwantpur Special Express (Train No. 05271/05272):
- Departure from Muzaffarpur: Every Friday, spanning from October 6th to December 8th, 2023.
- Departure from Yeshwantpur: Every Monday, between October 9th and December 11th, 2023.
- Primary halts include stations like Hajipur, Patliputra, Ara, Buxar, and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction.
- The train’s configuration will comprise Two AC-2 Tier, Four AC-3 Tier, Twelve Sleeper, and Three General Coaches.
Barauni-Yeshwantpur Special Express (Train No. 05215/05216):
- Departure from Barauni: Saturdays from October 7th through December 9th, 2023.
- Departure from Yeshwantpur: Every Tuesday, starting October 10th until December 12th, 2023.
- Major stops en route include Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Patliputra, Ara, Buxar, and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction.
- Train’s layout includes Two AC-2 Tier, Four AC-3 Tier, Twelve Sleeper, and Three General Coaches.
