Royal Enfield Himalayan 452: Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch the all-new Himalayan 452 in the coming months. With a 451.65cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC fuel-injected engine, this adventure tourer is highly anticipated. The brand has released its first official teaser image on its social media channels ahead of the much-awaited debut.

Featuring a white body shade, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 comes with all-LED lighting. It sports a black enclosure in the LED headlamp, along with LED tail lamps and turn indicators. A long transparent windscreen can be seen above the headlamp, while the lower half of the bike includes a number plate holder and a signature front beak or an uplifted fender for a purposeful look, similar to the Himalayan 411.

Other significant highlights include a side-mounted exhaust system, an extended handlebar, and a large fully digital instrument console with possible navigation and Bluetooth connectivity as standard fitment. The fuel tank appears large in size and is surrounded by metal braces for an adventurous appeal.

We already know that it will have a wheelbase length of 1,510 mm and a total width of 852 mm. Interestingly, the split-pillon seat does not appear prominently elevated on the side, and the presence of an offset mono-shock rear suspension will provide more space and enhance the overall riding quality, along with the upsidedown front forks upfront.

For performance, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is powered by a 451.65cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC fuel-injected engine, which delivers a maximum power of 39.57 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of around 35-40 Nm. It will be paired with a 6-speed transmission and feature a slipper and assist clutch as standard fitment.

This adventure motorcycle runs on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels and braking duties will be carried out by dual-channel ABS system (switchable ABS can also be offered) aided by front and rear disc brakes. The price of this adventure motorcycle is expected to be around 2.6 lakhs INR (ex-showroom) and it will compete directly with the KTM 390 Adventure X, Yamaha Ténéré 700, and BMW G310 GS.
