But post the recent performances, the looming question is: Will the selectors continue to vest their faith in him for the ODIs? Only time will tell.

As Kishan’s stint in the Team India jersey sees a temporary, if not permanent, eclipse, one hopes that the young gun finds his rhythm again, proving his mettle and returning stronger than ever.
