Yamaha Aerox Motogp Edition: India Yamaha Motors has announced the launch of the 2023 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP edition of the Aerox 155 scooter in the domestic market. Priced at INR 1,48,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the special MotoGP edition comes with Monster Energy livery and offers performance-based features like a class D-LED headlight, which claims to offer better distribution of light and improved visibility on roads.

The Yamaha Aerox 155 scooter is also aligned with E20 fuel, and it comes with standard features like an onboard diagnostics (OBD-II) system and hazard system. Along with the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP edition, the Yamaha Aerox 155 is also sold in four other color options including Metallic Black, Racing Blue, Grey Vermilion, and Silver.

The 2023 Yamaha Aerox Monster Energy MotoGP edition prominently displays the Monster Energy logo on the front fender and fairing, while the words can be seen on the fly screen and side panels. The NiOs branding is also present under the step-up single-piece seat. Other key attractions include black alloy wheels and a side-mounted exhaust system.

The Yamaha Aerox 155 is equipped with a traction control system (TCS) and it derives power from a familiar 155cc engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology. The powertrain is mated to a CVT transmission. The liquid-cooled, four-stroke, SOHC, four-valve engine produces a maximum power of 15PS at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 13.9Nm at 6,500rpm.

Previously, the 2023 Yamaha Monster Energy MotoGP edition was introduced for the YZF-R15M, MT-15 V2.0, and Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid, and now it has been added to the Aerox 155 lineup. Just a few days ago, Yamaha announced the introduction of two new color options for the FZ-S FI V4, and in December, the highly anticipated R3 and MT-03 motorcycles will be launched in India.

Both motorcycles will be brought in via the CKD route and are expected to be priced above INR 4 lakh (ex-showroom). They will be powered by a 321cc parallel-twin-cylinder engine, which will deliver around 42 hp of maximum power.
