TVS iQube: TVS Motors launched its first electric scooter, the TVS iQube, in India in 2020. It was one of the selected electric scooters to be launched first in India. However, initially, due to slow production rates, its sales were also slow. But now, this scooter has broken all its sales records.

In India, the TVS iQube electric scooter has sold over 2,04,701 units, indicating its increasing demand. When it was launched in 2020, only 62 units were sold during FY2020 (January-March 2020), and in the financial year 2021, the sales were limited to only 1,061 units.

However, in the financial year 2022, the sales of this scooter gained momentum, with a total of 10,773 units sold. In the financial year 2023, an astonishing 96,654 units were sold, and in the current financial year 2024 (April-September 2023), sales have already reached 96,151 units, with expectations of further growth in the upcoming months.

The TVS iQube is available in the Standard, S, and ST variants, with the ST being the top variant. The ST variant has a riding range of 145 km in Eco mode and 110 km in Power mode, with a top speed of 82 km/h. It is equipped with a 4 hp electric motor and a peak torque of 33 Nm. It can be fully charged in four hours and six minutes with a 950W charger and in two and a half hours with a 1500W charger.

In terms of features, it is equipped with LED units in the lighting system, a TFT display in the instrument cluster that supports smartphone connectivity. Using this feature, users can enjoy navigation assist, geo-fencing, range indication, charge status, ride statistics, incoming call alerts, and overspeed alerts. Additionally, it comes with practical features like a USB charging port and boot light as standard.
