To transform her dream into reality, Manjari journeyed to Delhi, enrolling herself in a reputable coaching center. Her tenacity and dedication bore fruit in 1976 when she successfully cleared the Civil Services Entrance Examination. Thus, she not only became Bihar’s first female IPS officer but also joined the elite group of the first five female IPS officers in the entire nation.

Retirement did not signify the end for this indefatigable soul. Manjari ventured into the world of letters, penning down her experiences and insights. She debuted as an author, with one of her books gaining publication and adding another feather to her cap.
