He stated, “Mahish Teekshana, our promising 23-year-old right-arm spinner, has sustained a hamstring injury. Considering the looming World Cup and the current severity of his injury, it’s not viable for him to play in the final. We’re prioritizing his long-term health and game readiness over short-term gains.”
