Presently, Anuradha Pal shines as the District Magistrate of Bageshwar District, but her journey to this esteemed position was not handed to her on a silver platter. She hails from an ordinary family based in a quaint village in the Haridwar district. Her father, a hardworking man, ensured the sustenance of their family by selling milk. His commitment and sacrifice played a pivotal role in Anuradha’s upbringing and her relentless pursuit of dreams.

Educational Endeavors

Anuradha’s educational journey is nothing short of remarkable. She completed her schooling from the renowned Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Haridwar. Following her schooling, she pursued her passion for technology and completed her graduation in Engineering, specializing in Electronics and Communication, from the prestigious Govind Ballabh Pant University in Uttarakhand.

Corporate to Classroom

Post her graduation in 2008, Anuradha embarked on a corporate journey and was selected to work with Tech Mahindra, a leading IT company. However, the allure of public service was strong, and soon she bid farewell to her corporate stint. She transitioned to an academic role, joining the College of Technology in Roorkee as a lecturer. But this was not just any teaching role; while educating young minds, she simultaneously prepared for the grueling UPSC exam.

UPSC – The Ultimate Dream

Her first tryst with the UPSC exam saw her secure the All India Rank of 451 in 2012, leading her to the prestigious Indian Services. However, Anuradha had her eyes set on a more specific goal – becoming an IAS officer. With relentless effort and undeterred spirit, she appeared for the UPSC exam again in 2015. This time, her dedication bore fruit as she clinched the All India Rank of 62, fulfilling her dream of becoming an IAS officer.
