Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival as well as its organizing corporation Goldenvoice had already filed a copyright violation lawsuit against Ghana's Afrochella music concert.

According to Coachella Music Festival, LLC and Goldenvoice, LLC, the Ghanaian live music is "willfully trying to trade on the charity" of the Californian event's title and trade names.

Afrochella 2022 will now start taking event on December 28 and 29 at El Was Venue throughout Accra, Ghana. Burna Boy, Stonebwoy, Fireboy DML, Ayra Starr, Black Sherif, and numerous others are among the big names. 

The complaint was filed in a federal district court in California on Wednesday (Oct 5). Afrochella Limited, BBNZ Live Limited, Culture Management Group Limited, and Does 1-20 are named in the complaint.

Coachella Music Festival, LLC and Goldenvoice, LLC have been suing for "trademark and service mark violation; untrue classification of source; cybercrime; and unfair business practices," according to the lawsuit.

And all the while, Coachella Music Festival, LLC and Goldenvoice, LLC are believed to have submitted a claim roughly comparable to this one steadily for the past December.

As stated in the claim, Coachella and Goldenvoice quoted Live Nation for organizing an event called Coachella Day One 22 that was organised and endorsed by the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians.

Coachella and Goldenvoice eventually sued Live Nation Entertainment for attempting to sell show tickets, that also they assume copied on their copyrights.
