This is very happy news for railway passengers. Because, giving great relief to the passengers, Northern Railway has decided to reduce the train fare in Kashmir Valley on Wednesday i.e. 20th March. Due to which the people here will have to pay much less fare.
For your information, let us tell you that Railways has restored second class ordinary fare in passenger trains in the valley. It is being told that the charges have been reduced by 40 to 50 percent. So let us know its current fare.
Let us tell you that before the relief, the fare from Sadura station i.e. Anantnag district to Srinagar was Rs 35. Which has now come down to Rs 15. It is being told that this relief is applicable in the entire valley of Kashmir. Due to which people have got a lot of relief.
Let us tell you that traveling by train has become very economical and cheap. According to the information, rail services are currently restored from Baramulla city in the north of the valley to Sangaldan in Ramban district of Jammu division.
