One problem that often arises while traveling on the highway is that people have to stop at the plaza for toll tax and after paying the money, they have to move ahead. But now this system is going to change completely. Regarding this, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said that to change the existing system of highway toll plazas, the government will introduce many new technologies including GPS-based toll collection system by March next year. Gonna do.

Its aim is to reduce congestion on highways and to collect toll from drivers only for the exact distance traveled on the highway. Also, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the government is considering bringing new technologies including GPS-based toll system to change the toll plaza system in the country.

Let me tell you that as soon as this system is implemented, all the drivers will be able to pay their tax without stopping the vehicle. This tax will be taken on kilometer basis. Drivers will have to pay toll only for the number of kilometers they have traveled and that too without stopping.

Once this system is implemented, people will not have to wait at the toll plaza, whereas earlier people had to wait for 8 to 10 minutes at the toll plaza, but now after applying Fastag, people can pass in just 47 seconds and less than 1 minute.
