Railway Super App: Indian Railways is called the lifeline of the people of the country. Every day lakhs of people reach their destination by train. Indian Railways is working on a new super app to provide facilities like train ticket booking, train tracking, food ordering at one place.
The biggest feature of Railway Super App will be that in it you will get all the services of Railways at one place. In this, facilities like UTS, National Train Inquiry System, Portrait, Vigilant, TMS for inspection operations, IRCTC Rail Connect, IRCTC e-Catering, IRCTC Air will be available.
Let us tell you that out of the total bookings received by Railways in the last year i.e. in the year 2023, about 5,60,000 bookings i.e. more than half were received through IRCTC app. This shows how much people use the app.
According to the news going on in the media, it will cost around Rs 90 crore to make this super app of Railways. Whereas it can be run at this expense only for 3 years. This means that as it is used, its cost will also increase.
