Alongside Sharma, Diya Kumari is set to assume the role of Deputy Chief Minister. Known as the Princess of Jaipur, Diya Kumari secured her position by winning the election from the Vidyadhar Nagar assembly seat. Her appointment as Deputy Chief Minister adds a royal touch to the state’s leadership.

Bhajanlal Sharma’s leadership has been well-received by political figures across the state borders. Mohan Yadav, the nominated Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, extended his congratulations, reflecting the wider BJP fraternity’s support for Sharma’s new role.

Interestingly, Sharma, despite being a first-time MLA, is a millionaire with assets worth Rs 1,46,56,666. He also has a declared liability of Rs 35 lakh. His financial status, however, is just one facet of his multifaceted personality and leadership abilities.

Senior BJP leader Baba Balaknath expressed the party’s collective sentiment, stating that Sharma’s extensive experience and long association with the BJP make him an ideal choice for the Chief Minister’s role. He emphasized that Sharma’s leadership is a welcome development, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for the party and the country.
