In October, the company released a teaser, showcasing the FJ Cruiser with a NASCAR-based V8 engine at the SEMA show. The modified 358-cubic-inch NASCAR V8 engine from Toyota Racing Development reportedly generates 725 horsepower in all race trim, equipped with a three-speed race-inspired Rancho drivetrain engineered automatic transmission and a MagnaFlow exhaust system.

The FJ Cruiser’s drivetrain offers exceptional performance features, with the lowest gear achieving 36 km/h and utilizing 42-inch BFGoodrich Crawler TA KX tires to reach speeds of up to 165 mph at 7,000 RPM in high gear.

In 2006, Toyota discontinued the production of the FJ Cruiser. However, Toyota Kirloskar Motor discontinued sales of its FJ Cruiser SUV since 2006. They recently presented a limited edition of 1,000 units for the Middle East market, which have already been sold.
