In November 2023, TVS Motor Company witnessed a remarkable 31 percent year-on-year increase in total sales, selling 3,64,231 units compared to 2,77,123 vehicles in November 2022. This growth highlights the company’s strong market position and consumer appeal.
The company’s sales in the two-wheeler segment, which includes bikes, scooters, and mopeds, saw a significant jump of 34 percent in November (a 30-day month), reaching 3,52,103 units. This is a notable increase from the 2,52,103 units sold in the same month the previous year, showcasing the brand’s increasing popularity in the two-wheeler market.
A breakdown of the sales figures reveals that motorcycle sales climbed by 19 percent to 1,72,836 units in November 2023, up from 1,45,006 units in November 2022. The scooter segment witnessed an even more dramatic increase, with sales soaring by 62 percent to 1,35,749 units in November 2023.
Despite the impressive performance in two-wheelers, TVS Motor Company experienced a downturn in the three-wheeler segment. Sales of three-wheelers in November 2023 dropped to 12,128 units, a decline from 13,481 units in November 2022. Additionally, the company’s total exports also decreased to 75,203 units in November, indicating a challenging global market.
