Queen Latifah, who has been in Hollywood since over thirty years, understands how to make a comment just on red carpet.
Last May 5, the actor of The Equalizer was honored at Variety's 2022 Power of Women celebration throughout New York City.
The star chose a more traditional look for the evening, walking out wearing a black mussed ground gown. She finished the look with a glam look and fair and balanced lipstick, accessorising with a decorative clutch and diamonds for jewellery.
"So last night... @variety #PowerofWomen," she titled a reel of photos from the occasion the next morning on Instagram.
Her veteran fans flocked to the Instagram comment thread to say her how stunning she glanced when she appeared before the camera crews.
"GORG£OUS," one commenter commented. "Like every year, you appear beyond this globe," wrote some other follower. "All hail the Queen!!!" exclaimed another fan.
Unfortunately, she'll just had to trade in her designer fashion for civilian attire as she gears up to promote her new Netflix movie End of the Road, which will be released on Sept. 9.
Third season of The Equalizer officially began production this August, with an official opening night date set for later this fall.
